Outlook not updating calendar schedules
Hiding Outlook private event details from Acuity is not currently supported.As a workaround, you can add "private" event details to the event description in Outlook (we'll only show the event title), or disable 2-way syncing.By default, Outlook should use our refresh setting of every 5 minutes.The only options for syncing with Outlook for Mac right now are our Office 365 and Exchange integrations.Because everyone in my office uses outlook we copy meetings from the Share Point calendar to each persons outlook calendar.
I do this because the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook doesn't show me as busy during meetings scheduled on the Share Point calendar (in Outlook) and the same applies with the Group Calendar in Share Point.You can do this by turning on incoming email in your Share Point calendar settings. If you email the event to the email address as an invitee, then any time you send out an update, that update will be reflected on the Share Point calendar. We tested this on some others users and it works as designed just not this users. I have a group calendar in Share Point that is synced to show in Outlook.
